The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has now demanded from Twitter and The Delhi Police to take action against Kamra. In the video that has gone viral, the seven-year-old is seen singing the patriotic song "Hey Janmabhoomi Bharat" in the presence of PM Modi. Kamra, in a morphed video, replaced the patriotic song with a popular folk song on inflation, "Daamrai Daayan", from the 2010 film "Peepli Live". Due to this, he is getting trolled and the NCPCR has written to Twitter and The Delhi Police seeking the removal of the tweet. In fact, the Commission also demanded action against Kamra.
In the letter, the NCPCR said, "The Commission has taken cognizance of the complaint and is of the view that using minors for propagating political ideologies is in violation of the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 and information technology (Intermediate Guidelines and)". It was also said that, "Using children for such promotional purposes is detrimental to their mental health." Notably, the child's father Ganesh Pol also attacked the comedian. The child's father tweeted, "He is my 7-year-old son who wanted to sing this song for his beloved motherland. Though he is very young right now, of course, he loves his country more. Mr Kamra or whatever the garbage is. He further added, "Keep the poor boy away from your dirty politics and try to work on your cheesy jokes."
