Many TV stars were present in the funeral of Kushal. It included artists such as Diandra Sauras, Karanvir Bohra, Kubra Sait, Chetan Hansraj, Nandish Sandhu, Sushant Singh, Jasvir Kaur and Drishti Dhami. He took this decision after becoming frustrated with family life. He gave 50% of his property to mother and sister and 50% of the rest to his three-year-old son.
