New Delhi: Recently CISF (CISF) has caught 4 foreign nationals at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). US $ worth Rs. 35 lakh were recovered from them. After interrogating the 4 accused, the CISF handed over them to the Customs Department. Now further investigation is being done.

According to the sources, the officer said, on December 6, four people were seen suspicious at the Terminal-3 IGI Airport. When our staff questioned them, they were terrified. When we checked their luggage bag and slippers, about 49860 US dollars were found in it which according to Indian currency is approx. 35 lakh rupees. Investigation revealed that the accused are Afghani and were at the airport to go to Kabul.

After conducting its investigation, the CISF handed over 4 Afghans to the officers of the Customs Department. Now the further investigation is being done. It is being ascertained from where the foreign citizens brought such money and where it was to be used.
