New Delhi: Lakshya Sen defeated Victor Svendson of Denmark to win the title in the final of the Belgian International Challenge. Lakshya Sen is an emerging badminton player from India. They have defeated second seed Denmark's Viktor Svendson. Which testifies to his brilliant performance. It took just 34 minutes for the Youth Olympic Silver Medalist goal to win the men's singles title. He defeated Victor 21–14, 21–15 in straight games.
The Asian junior champion Almora's goal was defeated by Denmark's Kim Brun (48 minutes) to advance to the final. They beat Kim Brun 21-18 21-11. The goal was preceded by Netherlands top seed Mark Kaljov. Had reached the semifinals after withdrawing from the tournament, where he defeated Kim to enter the finals. Prior to that, India's young badminton player Lakshya won Ntando's Eetu Heino had reached the quarterfinals by defeating KA 21-15, 21- 10. Lakshya tweeted that he was very happy to win the title of Belgian International Challenger and attributed this to the coach and support staff.
