Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor and former Lucknow MP Lalji Tandon died in Medant Hospital. Lalji Tandon was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow for many days. He breathed his last at 5 in the morning. His death was informed by his son and Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon via tweet.

His condition was said to be critical on Monday. On this, a medical bulletin was also released by Medanta Hospital on Monday, in which his condition was said to be very serious. Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji admitted to Medanta Hospital was put on ventilator. The doctor said that his condition was critical. Actually, Lalji Tandon, who was admitted to Medanta Hospital on 11 June, had worsened on 15 June. He underwent an operation after bleeding in the stomach. After which he has been on ventilator continuously.

Lalji was admitted to the hospital on 11 June due to difficulty in breathing, fever and difficulty in urination. UP Governor Anandiben Patel is being given additional charge of Madhya Pradesh due to poor health of Tandon. His body is scheduled to go to the government bungalow at Triloknath Road at 9:30 am. This bungalow is built in the name of his son Minister Ashutosh Tandon. His body is going to go to Sondhi Tola residence at 12:00 pm. And at three o'clock, his last rites will be performed at Gulala Ghat on Gomti Beach.
