Patna: Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, convicted in the fodder scam, has got the support of Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Extending her support to Lalu, Priyanka said that the specialty of BJP's politics is that those who do not bow before the party face harassment. In the same tweet, Priyanka Vadra said that those who do not bow down to BJP brand politics, they have to face harassment.

He said that he is hopeful that the RJD leader will get justice at last. “One of the key aspects of BJP brand politics is that those who do not bow down have to face harassment. Lalu Prasad Yadav is being attacked because of his adamant behavior in politics. I hope they get justice. Let us tell you that the former Bihar CM was convicted by the special CBI court in Ranchi on Tuesday in a case related to fraudulent withdrawal from Doranda treasury.

On February 15, the Special Court of CBI in Ranchi has declared RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav as a criminal in this case. In this case 36 persons have been sentenced to 3 years in jail. Whereas, the punishment for Lalu Prasad Yadav will be announced on February 21. Shortly after the court's decision, Lalu was sent to Hotwar jail. If Lalu is sentenced to more than three years, then bail will not be available. If the sentence is less than 3 years, there will be a possibility of bail.
