Ranchi: Supporters of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav have protested on the isolation ward being set up at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) on Saturday. In fact, isolation wards are being built in RIMS in the capital of Jharkhand for the treatment of those found infected in the investigation of suspected cases of Corona virus.
Opposing this, Lalu Yadav's supporters said that, 'Lalu ji is admitted in the hospital, many people come to meet him. Therefore such isolation wards should be established elsewhere. It is noteworthy that Lalu Yadav is admitted on the first floor of the paying ward. Whereas on the direction of the state government, isolation wing is being built on the third floor by RIMS management. The wing has 18 rooms. People coming from other countries including China will be admitted here and their blood sample will be taken for investigation. The patient will also be treated here if the infection is confirmed.
Meanwhile, Director of RIMS Dinesh Kumar Singh said that 20 thousand masks have been ordered. He said that apart from vigilance, there is a need to avoid confusion and rumours. He said, 'Not a single patient has been found in the neighbouring states of Jharkhand. So there is nothing to worry about. Even after this, we are completely ready. Avoid going in a crowded area. Clean your hands.
