Patna: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav's elder brother has passed away. Lalu Yadav's elder brother Mahavir Yadav passed away at IGIMS on Thursday. After receiving news of the demise, Tejashwi Yadav left for IGIMS. Tejashwi rushed to the hospital to meet the family of Mahavir Yadav and there he met the family members of Mahavir Yadav.

Lalu Yadav's elder brother Mahavir Yadav has passed away at IGIMS Hospital today. Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder brother Mahavir had been ill for many days. Mahavir was admitted to IGIMS in Patna a few days ago. Among the seven brothers and sisters, Mahavir Yadav was fourth. The eldest brother and sisters of Lalu Yadav are Maneru Yadav, followed by Gulab Yadav, Mukund Yadav, Mahavir Yadav, Gangotri Devi, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Shukdev Yadav.

Lalu Yadav's elder sister Gangotri Devi also passed away a few days ago. Lalu Yadav was sentenced in the fodder scam, after which Gangotri Devi died. It was said that Gangotri Devi was deeply shocked by the announcement of Lalu Yadav's sentence, which led to her death.
