Indore: The wife of martyr Lance Naik Deepak Singh of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh has been selected as a lieutenant in the Indian Army. Martyr's wife Rekha Singh has informed that, it was the grief of her husband's martyrdom and the feeling of patriotism that I decided to leave the job of a teacher and become an officer in the army. The hard work paid off in the second attempt and I have been selected as a lieutenant in the Indian Army. Training for the rank of lieutenant in the Indian Army will start from May 28 in Chennai. On completion of training, one will have to serve in the Indian Army as a lieutenant in one year.
