The Defender Octa is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 635 bhp of maximum power and 750 Nm of peak torque. According to the company, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds.

Design

Land Rover has designed this new car with a modern approach. The Defender Octa features underbody protection and can easily wade through water up to 1 meter deep. The company claims that this car is one of the best off-road vehicles in its class. It comes with 20-inch forged alloy wheels that can easily tackle rough terrain.

This new off-road vehicle offers several impressive features, including a new design, a diamond octa badge on the C-pillar, and 3D-nitted seats that are quite unique. Additionally, it features a better headrest, an 11.4-inch infotainment screen, and a center console. The car also comes in two attractive paint themes - Petra Copper and Faro Green - which are likely to appeal to young buyers.

Price

Land Rover has launched the Defender Octa in India at a price of Rs 2.65 crore (ex-showroom). The Edition One variant is priced at Rs 2.85 crore (ex-showroom). Bookings for the car will begin on July 31, 2024, and the company is likely to start deliveries by the end of this year.
