In the ongoing hearing of the Lands for job case, the Ex-railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, wife Rabri Devi and 14 others are likely to appear before a Delhi court on Wednesday, March 15.

The hearing in the case involving suspected corruption in railway appointments will continue in court. During his presidency from 2004 to 2009, candidates were requested to give or sell land parcels to Lalu Prasad's family in exchange for their appointment to the railways.

Lalu Prasad and other defendants were charged in the CBI charge sheet for their alleged involvement in the erroneous appointments made in the railways. These selections were against the Indian Railways' established standards and hiring practises.

The investigative agency claimed in its charge sheet that as payment in exchange, the candidates, either directly or through their close friends and family, sold land to Lalu Prasad's family at steep discounts.

On February 27, special judge Geetanjali Goel summoned the defendants, including Misa Bharti, Prasad's daughter, and demanded that they appear before the court on Wednesday.
