Chamba: A major accident took place in Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh today. After the landslide on Sangla-Chhitkul Road here, the rocks fell on the moving tempo traveler vehicle. Nine persons have died in the accident. On the other hand, four persons are injured. The accident is said to have occurred on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. It happened at 30 o'clock. Rocks fell near Batseri on Sangla-Chhitkul Road. The tempo traveler (HR 55 AC 9003) on his way to Sangla was also hit. There were 11 persons on provisions. Nine of them are said to have died.

At the same time, the Batseri bridge is said to have been hit by rocks during the landslide. The bridge was completely broken. In addition, some persons, apple orchards, and houses are also damaged. Police have reached the spot and a rescue operation is being carried out.

On the other hand, 73 persons have died in landslide cases at Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Satara in Maharashtra. The highest number of people lost their lives due to landslides in Mahad in Raigad. Meanwhile, 47 persons are still missing in the three cities. According to the Maharashtra government, 112 persons have died in flood-related cases in the state so far. 34 NDRF teams are engaged in rescue operations.
