MUMBAI: India’s first female superstar late Sridevi's mortal remains will arrive in India from Dubai today.UAE officials have revealed that Sridevi's autopsy has been completed and the family is now awaiting laboratory reports conducted by the General Department of Forensic Evidence, Dubai, Khaleej Times reported.
Sridevi's body could not be send home on Sunday as the final analysis reports from Dubai police were not prepared by late evening.
The superstar and wife of producer Boney Kapoor passed away late last night reportedly due to cardiac arrest (Silent heart attack) in Dubai. She had gone along to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding.
"Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi, Khushi and the entire Kapoor, Ayyappan and Marwah family is deeply bereaved and shocked with the untimely loss of Sridevi Kapoor," the statement passed Sunday evening by the Yash Raj Films (YRF) on behalf of the Sridevi ‘s family.
"They thank the entire media for their prayers, support and sensitivity during their time of grief. Late Sridevi Kapoor's body will arrive in India tomorrow," it further said.
The mortal remains are likely to be brought by a Mukesh Ambani’s chartered flight.
