MG Motor has come on its Indian website earlier this week before introducing its new electric SUV in India. The company is going to induct its new electric SUV in the country next month. The company may launch the MG ZS EV electric SUV on 5 December 2019. In the Indian market, it is being competed with Hyundai Kona. In the Indian market, this new electric SUV can be launched in the first three months of 2020.

MG ZS EV information for the Indian market has not been shared. At the moment, it is believed that the European motor and the backpack can be given in it. In the UK, this compact electric SUV has a synchronous motor that produces 141 bhp of power and 353 Nm of torque. This model can come with a 44.5 kWh battery pack that claims a range of up to 300 km on a single charge. The lithium-ion unit given in it takes 40 minutes to charge up to 80 percent if charged with a DC charger of 50 kW and it can take 7 hours to charge with a 7 kW charger.

Talking about the front design, the MG ZS EV is better and comes with a decent proportion. It has a sporty bold diamond finish on the grille and a curved roofline. Apart from this, a crossover look can be found in this SUV. It will be offered with many features in the Indian market. This means its feature-loaded variants can offer touchscreen infotainment systems, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, climate control, alloy wheels and over-the-air (OTA) systems.

Apart from this, MG Motor India can also install the first 50 kW DC fast-charging stations in the country. Due to which they can get charging infrastructure after the sale of electric vehicles. The carmaker has tied up with Fortum India for the charging network setup and will be setting up its first set-up in its showrooms like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
