New Delhi: The Land Cruiser LC300, a flagship SUV from Japanese automaker Toyota, went on sale in India for Rs. 2.1 crore (ex-showroom).

The most expensive and lavish model for the company on our land is the full-size SUV. To recall, the company started accepting orders for four-wheelers in August this year against a deposit of Rs 10 lakh.

Since its introduction in 1951, the Land Cruiser has been one of Toyota's most important product lines. The Middle East, Russia, Australia and Africa are all major markets for the SUV.

The brand's New Global Architecture (TNGA-F) platform, which aims to reduce overall weight while increasing structural rigidity, serves as the foundation for the updated LC300 model (J300).

The Toyota Land Cruiser features an intimidating chrome-slatted grille, tri-beam LED headlights with integrated L-shape DRLs, a wide air dam and bumper-mounted fog lights. It follows the aggressive design philosophy of the brand. ORVMs, roof rails, flared wheel arches and 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels surround the SUV on the sides.

Rear options include a roof mounted spoiler and wraparound LED taillights.

The 3.3-litre, liquid-cooled, twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine powering the Toyota Land Cruiser produces 305 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque. The SUV gets an all-wheel-drive system and a 10-speed automatic gearbox for transmission duties.

The seven-seat cabin of the Toyota Land Cruiser is lavishly decorated on the inside and includes dual-tone black-and-beige dashboard, premium leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, multi-zone climate control and A multifunctional steering is included. the wheel.

The SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 14-speaker JBL audio system. Multiple airbags are used for the safety of the passengers.

The Toyota Land Cruiser reaches India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. The full-size SUV is priced at Rs. 2.1 crore on stickers (ex-showroom). It can be reserved through the brand's local dealership here for a deposit of Rs. 10 lakhs.
