New Delhi: The Kia Motors EV9 concept will be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 in January before debuting in India. The upcoming EV will serve as the flagship model of the company's all-electric lineup. 

The e-SUV, which made its debut at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, is built on the same e-GMP platform as the EV6 crossover.

The development of battery electric vehicles is the primary focus of almost all automakers as electrification takes center stage in the motor vehicle industry (BEV).

For its capable EV6 crossover EV, Kia Motors has received positive reviews from both customers and critics across the world. The upcoming EV9 concept SUV is the South Korean automaker's flagship model for the global market as it plans to expand its lineup.

The upcoming Kia EV9 concept features a boxy design language usually found on an SUV and takes styling cues from its sibling the EV6.

Exterior design elements of the EV include a powerful clamshell bonnet, a distinctive digital tiger nose grille, a wide air dam, silver skid plates, cameras in place of ORVMs, flared wheel arches and designer wheels. Vertically stacked LED taillamps are available for the back.

The carmaker is yet to reveal any technical details about the Kia EV9 electric SUV. Nevertheless, we anticipate that the EV will use a large battery pack and an electric motor to generate power. A range of over 450 km is possible for the e-SUV.

The interior design of the future EV9 e-SUV is a mystery. However, we expect the EV to feature a spacious interior, a minimalist dashboard design, a yoke-style steering wheel, a glass roof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, two oversized screens for a digital instrument cluster and There will be an infotainment panel. The ADAS feature and multiple airbags will ensure the safety of the passengers.

During its launch event, the automaker will reveal the pricing and availability details of the upcoming Kia EV9. The e-SUV is currently only a concept; It is likely to go into production within the next two years.
