Lava Prowatch X Smartwatch Launched in India for Rs. 4,499 -Â Lava's sub-brand Prowatch has launched its first smartwatch in the X-series, called the Prowatch X. This smartwatch comes with built-in GPS and Bluetooth calling.Â
According to the company's statement, the Prowatch X is one of the best watches under Rs. 5,000 when it comes to health tracking, navigation, and activity monitoring.
What is Special About Prowatch X: The Prowatch X features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466 pixel resolution and a brightness of 500 nits. The display also has an Always-On feature and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The watch gives you over 150 watch faces to choose from, so you can customize it to match any occasion.
It is powered by the Advanced Actions ATD3085C dual-core chipset for smooth performance. It also has Bluetooth 5.3 and lets you make calls directly from the watch.
Tracking and Other Features: The Prowatch X uses a high-precision sensor for heart rate and SpO₂ readings. It also tracks VO₂ Max for intense workouts and has a Body Energy Meter to show your energy levels. You can monitor the Air Quality Index (AQI), track women’s health, set reminders, use a Pomodoro timer, and even track your altitude and direction with the barometer, compass, and altimeter.
The watch has over 110 sport modes to track different activities like hiking, swimming, cycling, cricket, yoga, and HIIT.
Durability and Battery Life: The Prowatch X is IP68 certified, which means it can be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. The 300mAh battery lasts between 8 to 10 days on a single charge.
Price and Availability: The Lava Prowatch X is priced at Rs. 4,499 and will be available on Flipkart starting from 21 February 2025. You can pre-order it from 15 February and get a Rs. 1,000 discount with a bank offer until 18 February.
The study found that the Prowatch X gave almost the same results as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 when it came to fitness tracking, activity tracking, and sleep monitoring. There was only a small difference in heart rate measurements. As for GPS connectivity, the Prowatch X worked almost just as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
