The statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on Saturday was garlanded by the senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh at Begusarai in the Indian state of Bihar. After garland, it was purified on Saturday.

According to media reports, Bahujan Kranti Morcha and Left party workers washed the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ballia Block office. These people say that Union Minister Giriraj Singh is doing politics of hate and on Friday garlanded Baba Saheb Ambedkar's statue and defiled him, so he is being washed with water.

 Union Minister Giriraj Singh On Friday took out the Bharatvanshi Jagriti Yatra from Sahebpur Kamal to Ballia in support of the CAA and the martyrs of Pulwama. After the visit, a meeting was also addressed at Ambedkar Park located at Ballia Block office. The statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was installed in this park, which was garlanded by Giriraj Singh and other BJP leaders. Today, Bahujan Kranti Morcha, Left parties and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) activists have washed and purified Ambedkar's statue.
