South Korean multinational electronics company LG Electronics, has lauched a 'Mosquito Away TV' that drives mosquitoes and is odorless, in India.

LG Mosquito Away TV is equipped with an Ultra Sonic device, which uses the sound wave technology to keep mosquitoes away, without emitting harmful radiations. The device needs to be first activated.

This technology does not use any chemicals, used in other toxic repellents, nor does it require refilling or any other maintenance.

The company claimed the technology complies with the norms of global organisations and has been tested by International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology (IIBAT), India as well.

Howard Lee, Director,Home Entertainment, LG Electronics said, "The new Mosquito Away technology in television is an extension of this philosophy, transiting beyond viewing experience and truly building a healthy environment at home”.

The LG Mosquito Away TV will be available at select LG Brand stores at the price of Rs. 26900, 80 cm while the 108 cm is available at price of Rs. 47,500.
