'LG X Screen' to launch in India on July 18, priced at $290

LG India has today sent out media invites for an event on July18(Monday), Where it will be launching the X screen.

The LG X Screen started rolling out globally earlier this year, and is finally set to be launched in India.

LG X screen Specification-

The smartphone features a 4.93-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) In-Cell display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The smartphone is also backed by a 2,300mAh battery that LG says is good enough for up to 570 minutes of talktime and up to 120 hours on standby mode.

LG X Screen Features-

The talking point of LG’s X Screen smartphone is the additional display. Besides the primary 4.93-inch display, there is also a 1.76-inch secondary screen that sits near the earpiece on the front.

This is basically an ‘Always On’ display, which lets users check time, date, battery status and notifications without having to turning on the phone.

For photography enthusiasts, there is a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera up front.

On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow.

LG X screen Price-

The X Screen smartphone has gone on sale in select countries, priced around $290, which is approximately Rs 20,000.
