Midfielders Randall Lille and Aaron Suarez have been dropped from costa Rica's final 3 football World Cup qualifiers along with defender Ricardo Blanco. Coach Lui Fernando Suarez announced a 27-man squad on Friday that includes defenders Ian Lawrence and Carlos Martinez along with midfielders Brandon Aguleria and Calors Mora and forward Anthony Contreras.  

Costa Rica is trying to reach the third consecutive World Cup. He will face Canada on Thursday, el Salvador three days later and then the UNITED STATES on March 30. Canada is at the top with 25 points, followed by the US with 21 points.

Mexico also has so many points but they are third by goal difference. Panama has moved up to fourth place by 17 points and Costa Rica at 5th place with 16 points. The top three countries will make it to the World Cup in Qatar, while the fourth-placed team is scheduled to play in a playoff against the Oceania champions in June.
