Just before the 15th season of the Indian Premier League, another English player has been out of the league. Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Mark Wood has been ruled out of the IPL due to an elbow injury. The exit of Mark Wood is really a big blow for Lucknow. Mark Wood, known for his pace and seam, was bought by Lucknow Super Giants in a mega auction held in February for Rs 7.50 crore.

Mark was currently running away in the Test series against West Indies. In the 15th season of the Indian Premier League, 14 players from England, including fast bowler Mark Wood, were to be taken but 3 players have withdrawn their names due to personal reasons and due to injury.
