A 69-meter-high graffiti of his darling son and legendary footballer Lionel Messi is set to be installed in Rosario, Argentina. The graffiti is called 'From Other Galaxy, From My City' and was created by local artists Marilyn Juriaga and Lisandro Ertiga.
In this graffiti, Messi is seen as the captain of the national team wearing the number ten jersey and is seen holding his hand on his chest. Several school children have participated in the inaugural function organized by Rosario authorities. Paris Saint-Germain striker Messi started his career with Club Grandoli, close to Rosario.
Lionel Messi, who plays Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain, clinched the Ballon d'Or 2021 title. He won the trophy for a record seventh time. In all, Messi and Ronaldo have shared the title 12 times in the last 13 years. The award was bagged by Croatia and Real Madrid's Luca Modrich in 2018.
Messi (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019 and 2021*) won the award 7 times and Ronaldo (2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017) 5 times. This year, Messi also made Argentina the champion of Copa America.
