Indore: A consignment of illicit liquor worth more than Rs 30 lakh has been seized by the district administration in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the consignment was also destroyed by running a road roller last Friday. In this case, officials said, "A total of 853 boxes of whisky and beer were seized in Mhow tehsil of Indore district in 2014 and the market price of this consignment of illicit liquor was 30.38 lakhs.'' In fact, district administration officials informed, "After being seized from the possession of illegal liquor dealers, the consignment of liquor was kept in the Indore police warehouse for the past seven years and was eating dust. On discovering this, the police officials had requested the district administration to destroy it.''

As per the information received in the case, district administration officials said that acting on their request, the stock of illicit liquor was destroyed by running a road roller in the ground of Patipura area of Mhow tehsil area where garbage is disposed of in the presence of members of the committee constituted by Indore District Collector Manish Singh. Let us also tell all of you that two months ago, the Indore district administration had issued a new advisory to liquor enthusiasts present in the district. They asked liquor shopkeepers to motivate customers coming to the shop to get the corona vaccine.

Also, follow the corona guideline. District Collector Manish Singh has said that at present people from all walks of life will have to participate in vaccination in a big way. Let us also tell you that there are 175 shops in urban and rural areas in the district. An advisory has been issued to all operators asking all customers coming to the shop for vaccines at the counter. Also explain to him, the vaccine is necessary.
