NEW DELHI: In response to the CBI and Enforcement Directorate raids related to the Delhi Liquor Policy 2021–2022, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Friday that "many officers' time was being squandered for their dirty politics."

How will the nation advance in such a manner? After the ED conducted many searches at various places on Friday, Kejriwal said in a tweet.

To find evidence against Deputy CM Manish Sisodia during the past three months, Kejriwal said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) had conducted 500 searches and have more than 300 officials working around the clock.

In the FIR filed against alleged corruption in the creation and implementation of the Delhi Liquor Policy 2021–2022, Sisodia is one of the 15 accused.

"Over 300 ED/CBI agents have conducted over 500 raids over the past three months, working around the clock to gather evidence against Manish Sisodia. Since nothing was done, they were unable to find anything. Many officers' time is being squandered because of their unethical politics. How will the nation advance in such a manner?" Kejriwal tweeted earlier today.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) was conducting raids at 35 locations in three states namely Delhi, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh,  in a recent development related to the Delhi's Excise Policy Scam. The raids began early on Friday.
