The period of lockdown has been extended across the country to prevent corona. Due to this, all the shops are closed. Liquor shops are usually closed on Dry Day, but this time due to the lockdown, 'Dry Month' is falling heavily on the victims of alcohol addiction. Shops have been closed since a month. People are now committing thefts in liquor shops. The locks of four liquor shops have been broken in a month.

Let us tell you that the lock of liquor shop located on MR-10 was also broken on Friday night, but the liquor could not be stolen due to the watchman's wake. The thieves also threw stones on the watchman. Later, the staff of the Excise Department reached the spot and the shop was sealed again. The department has asked the contractors to increase the security of liquor shops in the night, after the cases of the seal of the shops came to light.

However, thieves are mostly targeting shops that are near the urban border. Last week, Chorl's liquor shop was stolen. After this, the thieves entered into the shop of Aerodrome area and took the boxes of foreign liquor. An attempt was made to break the lock on a shop in Bhanwar Kuan area and MR-10 shop was targeted on Friday night.
