The question of liquor prohibition in Bihar once again started to arise when the smuggling of liquor broke out in the Corona special train run by the government in lockdown. GRP caught two smugglers on Tuesday with alcohol at Patna Junction. In the investigation, both have revealed that smuggling of liquor was being done in the state by Covid special trains.

He told that he has been smuggling liquor from UP for a long time. Both first take orders from customers on the phone and then make liquor arrangements in customers' homes and hotels.

According to the information received, the GRP registered a case related to smuggling and illegal liquor and sent the two criminals to jail. GRP has recovered liquor made in Uttar Pradesh in large quantities from both. After Jharkhand, the maximum liquor from Uttar Pradesh was being illegally brought to the state and it was being smuggled.
