Political turmoil has intensified in Nepal. The pressure on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to step down is constantly increasing due to rhetoric against India. Meanwhile, Oli is about to address the country today. He has met President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas. In view of this, speculation has also started for Oli to resign as Prime Minister. The Government of Nepal has decided to cancel the budget session of Parliament. The same dispute between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda continues to grow. The decision to postpone the budget session of Parliament has been taken in the cabinet meeting held at Oli's Baluwatar government residence.

The same President approved the proposal to cancel the parliamentary session and sent it to the Parliament Secretariat. On the other hand, KP Sharma Oli did not attend the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party running in Baluwatar. The Communist Party of Nepal leaders are constantly demanding his resignation. Senior party leaders including Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Madhav Nepal, Jhalnath Khanal and Bamdev Gautam had demanded Oli's resignation at the party's standing committee meeting.

On Wednesday, amid reports of a split in the party, Oli held a meeting with his key confidants, including cabinet ministers. During Wednesday's meeting of the NCP's standing committee, 17 members demanded Ollie's resignation. This is the first time 31 out of a total of 44 standing committee members have stood against Oli. And Oli has not given any statement on this.
