Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has resigned. Tuesday i.e. today, he met Governor Baby Rani Maurya at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and submitted his resignation. There is a press conference by Trivendra Singh Rawat sometime from now. After several BJP MLAs expressed their displeasure, the crisis was on when Trivendra Singh Rawat remained the CM. After which the central leadership had been churning for the last two days. And since then, there were speculations that Trivendra Singh Rawat may be discharged from the post of Chief Minister.
If we talk about Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, then the total number of MLAs here is 70. While BJP has 56 MLAs, Congress has 11 and 2 MLAs Independents. While one seat is still vacant. In such a situation, the BJP has no crisis on the government front, but the continued rage in the party is a matter of danger for him. If there is a leave of Trivendra Singh Rawat in Uttarakhand, then the discussion on who will be made the CM is also normal. Many names are coming out in these, who may get this responsibility.
In the same, the names of Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Minister Satpal Maharaj, MP Ajay Bhatt, MP Anil Baluni are in the discussions. Apart from this, the formula of CM and Deputy Chief Minister can also be adopted to address the caste equation in the state. On the other hand, BJP has called a meeting of all party MLAs of Uttarakhand, in which the name of the new CM of the state can be stamped. The BJP Legislature Party will meet in Dehradun at 11 am on Wednesday. Raman Singh and Dushyant Gautam will be sent to Dehradun as observers from the party.
