The present Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, hinted at increasing the lockdown in the all-party meeting through video conferencing today amid the growing case of Corona virus in the country. During the interaction with the MPs, PM Modi said that the situation in the country is similar to 'social emergency', for this, strict decisions are needed and we should be vigilant.

Corona: 15 districts will be completely lockdown from midnight

The states, district administration and experts have suggested to increase the lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. On the other hand, seeing the corona infection spreading rapidly in Uttar Pradesh, now the Yogi Adityanath government has taken a big decision and decided to seal the hot spot areas of 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh. This process of sealing will be implemented tonight i.e. Wednesday night after 12 noon.

After this important meeting, the question now is why the need to extend the lockdown deadline and seal the area completely? This answer was given by Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, at the press conference. Love Aggarwal said that ICMR studies show that COVID-19 patient can infect 406 people in 30 days if he does not follow lockdown, social distance. If we lockdown a person can infect only 2.5. He said that so far no decision has been taken to increase the lockdown.
