Bhopal: Due to the lockdown, Temples are shut down all over the state including Bhopal. This will be the first time when no one is worshipping in temples during Navratri. The Priests, who run the household from Dakshina working in temples, have also faced a crisis of livelihood. In view of the increasing danger of the outbreak of Coronavirus, this time people are not even offering prayers and rituals to the Priests by calling them home. The Priests have appealed to the Central and State Government to give them financial help. There are more than 50 thousand temples in the state. There are 12 thousand temples registered in the Religion Department of the state government.
