One of the most prestigious awards of the entertainment industry,  Golden Globes Awards were held in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday.  The awards are announced and it is a pride moment of India as the Telugu title RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli won the Best Song award for Naatu Naatu.

RRR at the event was represented by its director and stars - SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan who is accompanied by wife Upasana Kamineni. Jr NTR and Ram Charan play freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju in the period drama, set in the British-occupied India of the 1920s. NTR during media attention shared that he trained rigorously for 18 months for his role as Bheem in RRR. He gained around 7 kg of muscle and eat seven meals a day to gain weight.

 NTR further opens up about joining the MCU Awards. He said, "I would love to do it. I’m waiting for it to happen.” He also added that he is favourite character from Marvel is Iron Man. He added, "He’s so relatable. He is someone like us. He does not have superpowers. He doesn’t come from a different planet. He’s not someone who has been put through a science experiment and become the Hulk.”

Speaking of RRR, it is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan played Ram, NTR was seen as Bheem. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
