Lohardaga: A girl was given Tughlaqi (brutal) punishment by the family for falling in love with a youth from another caste in Jharkhand's Lohardaga. In the Salgi gram panchayat of the Kudu police station area, the girl was punished for cutting her hair, applying lime tilak and wearing a garland of shoes for falling in love with a young man from another caste. Then, the girl was also beaten up.  

However, no case has been registered in the police station in this case, because the girl's family has treated her like this. Now there is an attempt to give different shade to the case fearing legal action. Meanwhile, the girl has been hidden somewhere by the family. Station House Officer Abhinav Kumar said that the matter of shaving the head of the young woman has come to light, but the talk of taking out a procession in the village is wrong. The girl is 18 years old and is an adult. After reaching home, the police talked to the girl and her family members. Family members said that he was not tonsured in childhood, so he was tonsured.

At the same time, locals said that the girl's head was shaved due to her love for a young man from another caste. Some villagers and the girl's boyfriend said that both of them have been in love for 4-5 years. Both are residents of adjacent villages. According to the news, the young woman has lived in the lover's house before. At the same time, after getting the news of the lover, the family forcibly took her home. Some villagers said that the girl has been beaten up fiercely and when the girl insisted on living with her lover, her head was shaved and a garland of shoes and slippers was put with a lime tilak. The victim is completely scared after this incident because she has been threatened a lot. According to the allegations, the family has hidden the young woman somewhere and she is not being allowed to come in front of the people.
