New Delhi: Congress launched attack against BJP from the road, from Parliament to the Supreme Court, for the political struggle in Maharashtra. Opposition MPs led by the party's interim president Sonia Gandhi today staged a protest in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the Parliament House complex. At the same time, opposition MPs within the House accused the Central Government of killing democracy.

The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till noon after opposition leaders continued to raise slogans. Actually, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and Congress Chief Whip K. Suresh has proposed a stay in the Lok Sabha on the Maharashtra issue. Due to this, there is a lot of uproar in the house today. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, "I wanted to ask a question in the House but it doesn't make any sense to ask a question right now as democracy has been murdered in Maharashtra."

In response to this, BJP MP and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP are trying to make democracy a jugaadantra. Rajya Sabha MP Binoy Vishwam has given a suspension of business notice in the Upper House under Rule 267 regarding the formation of the Government of Maharashtra.
