New rates of LPG cylinders were released on March 1 amid the Russia-Ukraine war. Let us tell everyone that the rate of the cylinder has been increased by 105 rupees. Yes, and this increase has been made in commercial cylinders and to a great extent, it is possible that after March 7, domestic LPG cylinders will also become expensive. This is because the sixth phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections is on March 3 and the seventh phase of polling is on March 7. In such a situation, there may be a disaster after March 7. Let us tell you all that since October 6, 2021, domestic LPG cylinders have neither become cheap nor expensive. During this period, the price of crude oil has crossed $102 per barrel. However, during this time, the prices of commercial cylinders saw a significant change.

Between October 2021 and February 1, 2022, the price of the commercial cylinder has increased by Rs 170 and on October 1, the price of the commercial cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1736. At the same time, in November it became 2000 and in December it became Rs 2101 and then in January it became cheaper again and on February 2022 it became cheaper to Rs 1907. At the same time, this time also the price of commercial cylinders has been increased. Let us tell you all that a 19-kg LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi from March 1, i.e. from today, now in Delhi for Rs 1907 instead of Rs 1907 in 2012. At the same time, in Kolkata, it will now be available for Rs 2095 instead of Rs 1987, while in Mumbai, its price has now increased from Rs 1857 to Rs 1963. Let me tell you all that there is a relief for several months in the prices of non-subsidised gas cylinders in view of the assembly elections in five states.

In fact, despite crude oil prices crossing $102 a barrel, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders since October 6, 2021. Due to this, it is feared that after the election i.e. March 7, the price of gas can increase by more than 100 to 200 rupees per cylinder at any time.
