The prices of LPG cylinders are increasing day by day, while once again LPG cylinders have become even more expensive by 25 rupees. Domestic consumers will have to pay Rs 891. In February, gas companies have increased the price of domestic gas cylinders for the third time. This month there has been a total increase of Rs 100. Despite the domestic cylinders being expensive, the subsidy amount has not increased by more than Rs 31. On the other hand, the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced by 5 rupees. A commercial cylinder will be available for 1660 rupees.

On February 1, the price of LPG cylinder was fixed at Rs 791. The January price was not changed during this time. Gas companies raised the price by Rs 25 on 4 February. On 15 February, the price of the domestic cylinder was increased by Rs 50. LPG cylinders became expensive by Rs 75 in 11 days in Himachal Pradesh. On Sunday, the price of domestic cylinders has been increased by 25 rupees. Domestic consumers may have to pay a total of Rs 891 for taking cylinders this month, including home delivery.

Rs 31 is to be returned as subsidy to domestic consumers. Despite the increase in the price of LPG cylinders for the past several months, there has been no increase in the subsidy amount. Despite increasing the price of domestic cylinders by 100 rupees, the subsidy is still only 31 rupees. Local officials of gas companies said that subsidy is decided from the national level itself. They have no information in this context. On the other hand, commercial gas cylinders became cheaper by Rs 14 this month. On February 15, the prices had decreased by 9 rupees. Now the price has been reduced by 5 rupees.
