Lucknow: A shocking case of an acid attack has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. In the Gomti nagar police station area, miscreants entered the house and threw acid on the mother and son. Mother and son were seriously injured in the acid attack. Both mother and son have been admitted to the hospital in injured condition. At the same time, after getting the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating. Police have got CCTV footage in which it is seen that both the accused are holding a bottle in their hands.

The incident is from Viram Khand-3 of Gomti Nagar. Giving information about the incident, the police said that on Saturday night, two youths poured acid on the mother and son in The Ram Khand-3 of Gomti Nagar. Mother Anita Verma (40) and son Vikas Verma (16) were seriously injured in the acid attack. Police said that both of them were admitted to the Civil Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

An FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway, police said. After throwing acid, the two accused fled from the spot, police said. CCTV footage of the accused has surfaced, in which it is seen that the accused are carrying bottles by hand. At present, the situation will be clear only after investigation. People in the vicinity are also being questioned.
