Lucknow: Section 144 has been imposed in Lucknow, the capital of UP, the country's largest state. Section 144 has come into authority and will remain in power till 5th May. Due to this, more than 5 people will not be able to gather at one place in the city. Nor will more than 5 people be able to participate in the campaign for panchayat elections. Lucknow Law and Order Joint Commissioner Piyush Mordia has issued an order in this regard. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also ordered strict compliance with Section 144. The decision has been taken to prevent the spread of corona.

After section 144 in Lucknow, more than 5 persons will no longer be able to gather at one place in the city. If a procession is to be taken out, which involves more than 5 persons, it will require permission from the police. In addition, loudspeakers will also not be able to operate from 11 pm to 6 am. As per the government order, loudspeakers or any device that causes noise pollution will not be used at any religious place from 11 pm to 6 am.

Moreover, there will be no program that hurts the religious sentiments of another community. If you want to have a social function, permission has to be taken for that. But the number of persons attending the function has also been restricted. If a function is in a closed room, only 50% of the people can come there according to the capacity of the room. On the other hand, if the program takes place in an open field or open space, no more than 200 people can gather there.
