Santosh Anand, a native of Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, is included in this list. Expressing deep sorrow on the death of Lata Mangeshkar, he said that I am deeply saddened by the passing of Didi, I pay my heartfelt tributes to her. Lata ji gave recognition to my songs. He further said, 'Wherever she stays, keep showering good voices and words on the country and the world.'
Santosh Anand said that most of the songs written by him were given a new identity by Lata Mangeshkar by singing. He said- 'Lata Mangeshkar not only gave recognition to my songs but also gave me a special identity through it. The songs of the film Shor, Kranti, Pyaasa Sawan etc. have been sung by Lata Mangeshkar. It is because of Lata ji singing the songs that people still hum them today. ' He cried, saying this.
