PARIS:  French President Emmanuel Macron has reorganized his Cabinet for the second time in six weeks, the Elysee announced.

Brigitte Bourguignon (Health), Justine Benin (Sea), and Amelie de Montchalin (Ecological Transition) are the three ministers that lost their positions in the legislative elections in June and were replaced on Monday, according to the Xinhua report. Yael Braun-Pivet, a former Minister of the Overseas Territories, also resigned from her position after being named President of the National Assembly.

Braun-Pivet's Ministry will be taken over by Gerald Darmanin, who has also retained his post as Interior Minister. Damien Abad, the former Minister of Solidarity and Social Cohesion who has been charged with attempted rape, was replaced by Jean-Christophe Combe, the former head of the French Red Cross.

The new government includes 41 members, including 10 Secretaries of State, 15 Minister representatives, and 16 Ministries.  Elisabeth Borne, the new prime minister nominated by Macron on May 16, is anticipated to announce the new administration's agenda to the National Assembly on July 6. After winning the presidential election in April, Macron first-named ministers for the new administration on May 20.
