Karan Johar’s upcoming movie Kalank is one of the much awaiting movies of the year. The makers have released the trailer and few songs of the film which are already ruling the playlist of the people. Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for song ‘Tabah Ho Gaye’. fans have eagerly been waiting to see her as Bahar Begum in Kalank. But the role was originally supposed to be portrayed by late legendary actress, Sridevi. But after her sudden demise, the makers of the film roped in Madhuri to step into the heroine's shoes. Finally, Madhuri opens up on stepping into Sridevi's shoes, Madhuri reveals that the first day of the shoot was emotional.

On doing legeandy actress Sridev’s role, Madhuri  said, "When I walked in, I knew this was the role that she was going to play and now, I was doing it. What happened was very tragic and sudden. Even today, it's unbelievable. In that sense, it was very emotional. It was more on a personal level that I felt all these things when I started shooting for the film. We remembered her on the set all the time. But then, of course, when the shot is on, you have to block all that out and play the part."
