Madhuri Dixit has won the hearts of the audience with are acting skill and killing dance moves. Now, the Dhak Dhak girl is all set to surprise her fans by releasing an album. All set to become a singer, Madhuri will be releasing her first single later this year.

Talking about her single, Madhuri told Midday"This is the first time I am exploring singing on a professional level. It has been a while since we were ready with the album. However, due to other commitments, we did not get the time to shoot for the videos. It is important to have a video to go with the song. We will release the first single this year."

Earlier, Madhuri has also tried her hands in singing. After singing for Rangi Saari Gulaabi for her film, Gulaab Gang, Madhuri will now be exploring the world of pop. She goes on to reveal, "It's an English album with six songs. Although each song has a different flavour, they all belong in the realm of pop music."

On the work front, Madhuri just made a splash with her performance in Total Dhamaal and is all set for her next release Kalank. The role of Bahaar Begum was originally supposed to be essayed by Sridevi. But due to her sudden and untimely passing, Madhuri stepped into the shoes of the legendary actress.
