Bhopal: A speeding car collides into a milk tanker parked on the roadside near the Chacharsi joint on the Indore-Bhopal highway in Madhya Pradesh. In the accident, the husband and wife died on the spot, while the daughter died on reaching the hospital. The younger daughter also suffered serious injuries, which was referred to Indore after primary treatment.

According to the information received, Manish Kapoor, son of Hiranand Kapoor (45), wife Bhavya Kapoor (42), resident of Katara Hills, Bhopal, were coming back on Wednesday after getting their daughter Lovely enrolled in the medical college of Gwalior. After stopping at Bhopal at night, on Thursday, they were going to Indore by car to leave the children in their laws. He was accompanied by his younger daughter Sia. Lovely also returned with him due to no classes due to a corona infection. While going from Bhopal to Indore, at around 2.15 pm, his car got uncontrolled at the Chacharsi joint on Indore-Bhopal road and got into a milk tanker parked on the roadside. The collision was so severe that the front of the car was completely smashed.

Hearing the sound of the collision of both the vehicles, the employees of the petrol pump and the villagers reached out and took out the people trapped in the car and gave information on Parvati police station, but by then Manish and his wife Bhaviya lost their lives. Both daughters were brought to Ashta's Civil Hospital, where the elder daughter also died. Referred to Indore, when her daughter Sia suffered serious injuries. The tanker driver escaped after the incident.
