Monsoon session of MP Assembly postponed due to Corona

Bhopal: The upcoming monsoon session of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly has been postponed due to the corona epidemic, the monsoon session, which was getting started from July 20, won't be organized now. A decision has been taken in this regard at an all-party meeting convened today in Bhopal. The meeting was called by the Protem Speaker Rameshwar Sharma. After the meeting, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that this decision has been taken unanimously for the protection of everyone from the Corona epidemic.

The monsoon session of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, which starts from July 20, will no longer be on schedule. Earlier, Protem Speaker of the Assembly Rameshwar Sharma called a meeting of all the parties today. However, only Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress leaders were present in it. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) was not included in it. CM Shivraj Singh, former CM Kamal Nath was also present in the meeting.

Protem speaker Rameshwar Sharma said that cases of corona infection have increased rapidly in the state in the last 10-12 days. The central and state government have issued guidelines regarding corona infection. In this, a guideline has been released regarding the wedding functions.

There are not enough arrangements to seat 219 members in the assembly. Due to having a centralized AC hall, there could have been a risk of spreading the infection. For this reason, it has been unanimously decided to postpone the session. Sharma said that a proposal to postpone the session will be sent to the Governor.
