Bhopal: News of factionalism in the BJP organization has started coming before the by-elections to be held in 24 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that local BJP leaders are opposing Gwalior District President Kamal Makhijani and Indore District President Gaurav Ranadive. Activists and leaders of the Narendra Singh Tomar group have come out in the open against MP Vivek Shejwalkar's special appointment Kamal Makhijani as BJP's Gwalior district president.

Disgruntled BJP leaders and activists of Gwalior have complained to the party's national president JP Nadda demanding the dismissal of Kamal Makhijani from the post. At the same time, state spokesperson of BJP Umesh Sharma has expressed open opposition on the appointment of Gaurav Ranadive on Indore on the social media. He wrote on his Facebook wall, 'If the boundary of injustice is not fixed, then the power of the commander will not decrease, a skilled swordsman will be less than a troop.'

At the same time, the opposition Congress, while tightening the BJP's factionalism, said that now the people of Narendra Singh Tomar and Jyotiraditya Scindia faction have come against each other. Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson RP Singh said that the battle for supremacy between Scindia and Tomar has started. The Congress is assuming that the BJP will benefit from this factionalism in the by-elections.
