Bhopal: The budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly will continue from February 22 till March 26. Governor Anandiben Patel has approved the 33-day session, which has also been issued by the Assembly Secretariat. In Madhya Pradesh, the Protem speaker has been observing the proceedings and functioning of the House for the last seven months due to the corona epidemic, but it is reported that the budget session may elect a new president. It is to see who becomes the permanent speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly?

In fact, the Kamal Nath-led government collapsed in Madhya Pradesh in March after Congress MLAs resigned and the BJP took over. It was followed by the BJP government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Senior BJP MLA Jagdish Deora became the Protem speaker after the resignation of Narmada Prajapati, the assembly speaker in the Kamal Nath government, but resigned in July to join the cabinet.

Since Jagdish Deora's resignation, BJP leader and MLA Rameshwar Sharma was made protem speaker on July 3, he has been watching the assembly. He accepted the resignations of several Congress MLAs as Protem speakers. A unique record has been added to Rameshwar Sharma's name. The record of being the longest Protem speaker in any assembly has now been recorded in Sharma's name.
