Bhopal: Four members of the same family who had gone to discharge ashes in Kanhan River in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh, two of whom died and one is still missing, are still being searched. One of these members has been rescued safely. According to the information received, members of the Saunsar family of Chhindwara had gone to Kanhan river for bone discharge when the accident occurred during bone discharge, killing 2 people.
Giving details of the incident, local police said that the Saunsar family members of Chhindwara had gone to Kanhan river for bone discharge when they landed to take a dip in the river, with four people drifting into the river. Other family members tried to save their lives, but by then 2 had died. Though one has been rescued safely, one person has not been traced yet.
The police had also informed the SDRF team as soon as the incident was reported. After which the SDRF team and the police started the rescue operation but no clue has been found of the missing youth so far. Police are still searching for the young man around the spot. As soon as the incident was reported, there was an atmosphere of mourning in the entire Sausar family, where all these youths had gone to discharge the bones of a family member, who has swept away in the river along with the bones.
