New Delhi: There is no conclusion of the political crisis in Madhya Pradesh yet. After a long debate on Wednesday, the case has started hearing again in the Supreme Court on Thursday. During this, the assembly speaker told the Supreme Court that the court should give enough time for two weeks for the rebel MLAs to take a decision on the resignation.

On this demand of the speaker, former Madhya Pradesh CM and senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that why do he need more time? To get involved in horse trending? Now they know that they do not have the numbers. This is an excuse to transfer something else. During the hearing, Justice Chandrachud said that in Madhya Pradesh, we want a floor test soon. Manipulation should not be encouraged. The Supreme Court questioned whether the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly can meet the rebels MLAs through video conference and take a decision?

The Speaker of the Assembly told the court that he cannot do this. The Supreme Court said that if the Assembly session is not going on and the government loses majority then the Governor has the power to direct the Speaker to conduct floor test.
