Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, a major decision has been taken for the treatment of corona patients. Now all clinics and nursing homes treating corona patients in Madhya Pradesh will have to show details of treatment rates at their reception counters. Recently, the health department has issued a directive. As per this directive, no nursing home in the state can charge more than 40 percent of the rates shown from any corona patient. If Bhopal is left in the state, the government Covid centers have been closed in other places.

At present, corona patients are undergoing treatment in government hospitals, and private nursing homes and clinics are not getting assistance from the government side. For quite some time, private nursing homes and clinics have been receiving complaints of arbitrary recovery from patients. Talking about this, Basant Kurre, director, Bureau of Health, Information, Education, Communication, said, "Orders to show treatment rates at reception have already been issued.''

Not only that, but he also said, "instructions have been issued by the Jabalpur High Court in November 2020 under the order passed to show the fixed rates of treatment of corona infections at reception counters at clinics and nursing homes." It is said that if more than 40 percent fee is charged from the rates fixed for treatment, the district administration and the High Court can also be sent for necessary action.
