Indore: In Madhya Pradesh's financial capital, Indore, due to continuous rains since yesterday, the sewage line caps have been opened. Because of this, the water coming out is entering people's homes. The entire district has received about 5 to 7 inches of rain since this morning. Due to this, water has been installed in many areas. In addition, water has also entered many houses.

This rain has exposed the work of the municipal corporation, including the administrative officers of the district. Complaints of water filling in the lower settlements have been received since morning. Given this, the team of District Magistrate Manish Singh, MP Shankar Lalwani, DIG Harinarayan Chari Mishra and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pratibha Pal are constantly monitoring from the control room. Everyday life in Indore has been severely affected due to heavy rains. People are not getting out of homes. In the last 24 hours, 263.4 mm rainfall has been recorded in Indore.

According to the meteorological department, similar rainfall is forecast in Madhya Pradesh for the next 36 hours. Hence SDRF, Municipal Corporation team and District Administration have been kept on alert.
